SkillSurvey Career Readiness allows institutions of higher education to produce graduates who are more “career ready” by demonstrating that they have prepared their students with the competency-based skills necessary for success in the workplace. SkillSurvey and the NACE Center for Career Development and Talent Acquisition launched The Career Readiness Project to enable institutions of higher education to measure and assess students’ “career readiness” in work-related behaviors.

SkillSurvey Career Readiness will help colleges and universities ensure their institutions are preparing students with the skills and behaviors they need to succeed in the workplace. SkillSurvey’s team of I/O psychologists created 18 post-work experience evaluations for entry-level and pre-professional work experiences to enable employers to provide students feedback on their level of competence as they prepare to enter the workforce. These new evaluations align with the career readiness competencies defined by NACE, their member institutions and employers. Each student is provided a report that includes ratings and direct feedback from their manager and co-workers, data that allows the student to compare their ratings to other students in similar programs and results of a self-assessment to identify gaps in self-awareness. These work-related competencies align with key soft skills employers are expecting in career-ready college graduates.
The mission of the EdTech Breakthrough Awards is to honor excellence and recognize the innovation, hard work and success in a range of educational technology categories, including Student Engagement, School Administration, Adaptive Learning, STEM Education, e-Learning, Career Preparation and many more. This year’s program attracted more than 1,500 nominations from over 12 different countries throughout the world.
