Bridging the Skills Gap with Workforce Development Strategies

SkillSurvey teamed up with HCI on their latest Talent Pulse report

Finding talent with the right mix of hard and soft skills is becoming more challenging. A recent HCI survey found that 62% of respondents believe the skills gaps of their existing workforce negatively affect their ability to meet their organizations strategic goals. And 59% say that external skills shortages are producing the same effect. As a result, many organizations are partnering with trade associations, government agencies, or educational institutions to collaborate on solutions to help alleviate labor shortages and bridge skills gaps.

In this Talent Pulse report, sponsored by SkillSurvey, HCI shares the results of their recent survey of HR practitioners on the issues they face when finding and training talent, why skills gaps matter, and approaches to address skills gaps.
