SkillSurvey Research Shows References Respond Faster via Mobile Devices
Wayne, PA – June 27, 2012 — - SkillSurvey®, Inc., the inventor and leading provider of online reference-checking solutions, released research showing that employment references using mobile devices to respond to requests for reference-checks provide feedback to recruiters faster than those who are not using mobile devices.
Data from SkillSurvey covering a twenty-month period ending in May 2012 revealed that the median response time for a sample of job references using the mobile version of its Pre-Hire 360® platform was approximately half a business day faster versus the time it took references who were not responding through a mobile device.
The result was statistically significant and shows that references responding via mobile devices are likely to complete a reference-check request within the same day it is received. References in the research were either former managers or peers, and over 70,000 references used the mobile version of Pre-Hire 360® during the twenty-month research period.
Pre-Hire 360® automates the process of gathering input from a job applicant’s references by using behaviorally-based surveys delivered through an electronic solution.
